Forefront Engineering participated in the 2025 Fidic Asia Pacific Webinar hosted by the Korea Engineering and Consulting Association. Focusing on “The Impact of AI in Engineering and Construction,” Forefront shared insights on AI-driven digital transformation in infrastructure. Special thanks to the Society of Consulting Architectural and Engineering Firms Nepal (SCAEF Nepal).

Forefront Engineering hosted an expert-led BIM training session focused on Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Digital Twins technology. Featuring industry leaders and Bentley Systems software like OpenBridge Designer and the iTwin Platform, the session provided valuable insights into transforming infrastructure design, construction, and asset management with advanced digital engineering tools.

Forefront, an authorized Autodesk Service Provider in Nepal, conducted Autodesk Revit training for 25 engineers from MoPID and its Divisions/Offices. The program focused on enhancing BIM competencies through hands-on learning in architectural and structural modeling, 2D drawing generation, AutoCAD export, and quantity take-off—empowering government engineers in digital engineering practices.

Bridge Information Modelling (BrIM) enhances the entire lifecycle of bridges, from design to maintenance. By using 3D models, data analysis, and simulations, BrIM creates more efficient and cost-effective designs. At Forefront Engineering, we integrate BIM, drone surveys, and digital twin technology to streamline construction, reduce errors, and optimize resources. BrIM enables faster construction, smart maintenance, and cost savings, ensuring safer, more sustainable bridges.

Forefront Engineering participated in the Pre-Conference Events on BIM at HYDRO 2024, held on 17 November 2024 in Austria. Mahesh Karki and Sunil Suwal led expert training sessions, focusing on BIM's role in hydropower design, construction, and maintenance. Their insights emphasized how BIM enhances efficiency, collaboration, and risk reduction. Forefront Engineering continues to drive BIM innovation in the hydropower industry.

The first-ever SketchUp Conclave 2024, organized by Forefront Engineering, was successfully held in Nepal, showcasing innovations in digital construction technology, especially SketchUp software. Industry leaders, including CNI VP Birendra Raj Pandey and Trimble’s Rahul Mallikar, emphasized the importance of digital tools. The event saw participation from major industry associations, marking a significant step for Nepal’s AEC sector.
