We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team and drive our business growth. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within the design, engineering, and construction sectors. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the AEC industry, excellent networking skills, and a proven ability to close deals. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience and a strong track record of success in business development within the AEC industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve growth targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the design, engineering, and construction sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met and projects are delivered successfully.
- Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities and results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in business development within the AEC industry.
- Proven track record of successfully securing and managing large-scale projects.
- A strong network of contacts within the design, engineering, and construction sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
