Sabin Dahal

Sabin Dahal is a dedicated Construction Engineer with a strong focus on digital innovation in the construction industry. Currently serving as a BIM Coordinator and Junior Project Manager at Granlund Oy, Sabin specializes in applying Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodologies to optimize construction processes and improve project outcomes. Alongside his professional role, he is pursuing a master's degree in computing in Construction at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, where he is further developing his expertise in leveraging advanced technologies to enhance efficiency and drive innovation within the construction sector.

Sabin has built considerable expertise in the application of BIM techniques for complex projects, with a particular focus on integrating AI, digitalization processes, and cutting-edge tools such as IFCSchema, IFCOpenshell, OpenBIM, Python, Rhino, Grasshopper, Machine Learning, Digital Building Permit Processes, and Digital Twin. His work aims to bridge the gap between traditional construction practices and emerging digital innovations, fostering a more efficient, collaborative, and sustainable industry. In addition to his current role, Sabin has also gained valuable experience as a Welding Inspector at K. Hartwall Oy Ab and as a Steel Detailer at NJ Rebar.
