Forefront Engineering Private Limited and Shilakshya Griha Nirman Pvt. Ltd. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on Building Information Modelling (BIM), digital engineering, emerging technologies and research for the resilient and sustainable construction practices in Nepal.
The partnership brings together two Nepali companies with a shared vision of modernizing the construction industry through technology, innovation, and knowledge sharing while promoting a more efficient, resilient, and sustainable built environment. The MoU was signed by Mahesh Karki and Sudhir Thapa representing Forefront Engineering, and Ashit Adhikari and Sayan Pyakurel representing Shilakshya Griha Nirman. Through this collaboration, the companies aim to promote the practical application of BIM, Virtual Reality (VR), Digital Twins, LiDAR scanning, and other emerging technologies in construction projects.
These technologies can improve design coordination, project visualization, site documentation, clash detection, quantity take-offs, and decision-making throughout the construction lifecycle. The partnership will also explore Scan-to-BIM, reality capture, AI-enabled tools, and other digital-engineering solutions to support better project outcomes.
