Biography

Manish Jaiswal is an experienced Project Engineer specializing in structural and geotechnical engineering, with a strong background in design, analysis, and construction planning. With expertise in AutoCAD/Civil3D, SCIA Engineer, finite element analysis, and 3D-BIM modeling, he has worked extensively on reinforced concrete structures, excavation planning, and geotechnical site investigations. Currently, he serves as a Research Assistant at Aalto University, contributing to advanced research in geoengineering and mechanical engineering applications. His professional journey also includes his role as a Business Development Advisor at NORDES, where he has been actively engaged in strategic growth initiatives since 2023.

With nearly a decade of industry experience, Manish has held key positions at Sipti Consulting, where he has been a Project Engineer in geoengineering since 2020 and previously worked as a Structural Design Engineer. His responsibilities have encompassed quarrying and excavation planning, site sounding strategies, and infrastructure development. His academic foundation includes a Master of Engineering in Geoengineering from Aalto University, complemented by a bachelor's degree in Sustainable Building Engineering from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, he has enhanced his expertise through specialized studies in structural steel and reinforced concrete design at Häme University of Applied Sciences. Beyond his technical expertise, Manish has been actively involved in professional networks and leadership roles. He served as the Head of International Affairs at SKOL Konsulttinuoret, representing young professionals in Nordic and European engineering consultancy associations.

As a Steering Committee Member for Future Leaders within EFCA, he played a key role in fostering collaboration among emerging engineering professionals across Europe. His commitment to the industry extends beyond engineering practice, as he continues to contribute to knowledge-sharing and professional development within the field.
