This is a foundational and introductory class that will provide you with the basics of Building Information Modeling (BIM). You will learn essential BIM concepts, including its guidelines, policies, and key technologies. The course will cover practical applications of BIM in design, construction, and project management. You will explore how to use BIM for Bill of Quantities (BOQ), scheduling, cost analysis, and quality management. The training aims to enhance your communication and collaboration skills within project teams.
This course is designed for students who are beginners in BIM, as well as professionals in architecture, engineering, and construction who wish to build or refresh their BIM skills. No prior experience with BIM is required, but a basic understanding of architecture or engineering concepts is beneficial. This course is recommended before you take the BIM for Architects and Engineers Course.
