Training Objectives
This is a foundational and introductory class that will provide you with the basics of Building Information Modeling (BIM). You will learn essential BIM concepts, including its guidelines, policies, and key technologies. The course will cover practical applications of BIM in design and construction. The training aims to enhance your communication and collaboration skills within project teams.
Content of the Course
- Introduction to Building Information Modelling
- BIM guidelines, policies, and regulations
- BIM information content, validation, and exchanges, IFC
- BIM in design (Architectural, Structural and Building Services)
- BIM in Construction
- BIM utilization (Quantity take-offs, scheduling, and others)
- BIM-based communication and collaboration
Target Audience and Prerequisites
This course is designed for students who are beginners in BIM, as well as professionals in architecture, engineering, and construction who wish to build or refresh their BIM skills. No prior experience with BIM is required, but a basic understanding of architecture or engineering concepts is beneficial. Following course is recommended after you take this course:
Training Schedule
The training is offered in flexible morning and evening sessions. Specific times will be communicated to you via call or email. The training spans 10 hours.

Equipment: For an optimal learning experience, use two screens or computers—one for following the instructions and the other for hands-on tasks.
